Take a trip to the very edge of space when you visit the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum! This museum is packed full of absolutely amazing things to see and do, and there is even an Air and Space Camp for budding space explorers. The opening hours of the museum are from Monday to Saturday from 10.00am to 5.00pm and on Sundays from 12.00pm to 5.00pm.
On the second Saturday of each month there is a Cockpit Demo. This fascinating experience is an absolute must for anyone who has a particular interest in air & space travel. In addition to this there are many other events held throughout the year such as Storytime in the Exploration Station – a whole lot of fun and a perfect experience for those younger visitors on their first voyage to the stars.
The exhibits that are on show at the museum include displays of aircraft, space and rocketry. There are also some breath-taking restoration projects (helped along by volunteers). If this is something that interests you, why not ask to join in? You may be picked to help on a project! There is a large car park that is attached to the museum, so if you are planning on travelling as part of group you will be able to get in and out with ease.
As you will see, the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum is an amazing place to visit that will capture the imagination of everyone who goes there.
