Dear Jim,
As per our recent
phone conversation, I am following up with a written
commendation for one of your drivers. Her name is Stacey
Boos and she is from Topeka , KS .
On January 27th, my husband and I stopped to purchase
gas and snacks at the Sac-n-Fox Truck Stop on Highway
75. After filling the car with gas, we realized that
we had no cash and we were out of checks in the checkbook.
We explained our situation to the clerk, who informed
us that if we drove away from the premise, we would be
arrested for "non-payment". We live outside of Hiawatha
, KS and for one of us to drive home for more money or
checks would have meant approximately a 50 mile round
trip. In addition to our dilemma, the icy conditions
would have made our drive twice as long. It was at that
time that Ms. Boos stepped forward. She heard our predicament
and offered to pay for our gas and snacks because "she
didn't want to see anyone go to jail over $14.00". Mind
you, until that moment, we had never met this woman so
she had no idea whether or not she could even trust us
to get her money back. She paid our debt, took her cup
of coffee and slipped quietly away as the clerk & others
were praising her as a "good Samaritan".
With all of the hatred and violence in the world today,
it was so refreshing to know that there are still such
warm, kind-hearted people out there, who are willing
to help a stranger in need.
My husband and I have already mailed a check, along
with a thank-you note to Ms. Boos, but as her employer,
please see that this nice lady is commended. She represented
herself and your company very well.
~
Jennifer Thomas
P.S. The clerk at Sac-n-Fox told Ms. Boos that anytime
she is on duty, coffee or another drink of her choice,
would be "on the house".
Just wanted to provide some feedback regarding the Kansas
city Blazers recent trip to Addison , TX . We utilized
Arrow Stage Lines for our bus transportation and we
couldn't have experienced a better trip. Our two bus
drivers - Chuck & Nancy were stupendous! The trip
consisted of 107 swimmers, 10 chaperones and 6 coaches....many
of whom utilized the services of the buses throughout
the weekend.
The trip is a logistical challenge and could not have
been pulled off successfully without the usage and cooperation
of the bus drivers. I can not say enough about Nancy
and Chuck - they were courteous, helpful, supportive,
on time and always willing to pitch in and give us a
hand. Never once during the trip did I have to worry
about the buses showing up on time - the majority of
the time they were waiting on us!! Traveling with 107
swimmers can be nerve racking - however, both bus drivers
seemed to enjoy working with the kids and did their very
best to meet the needs of every passenger.
On Sunday - bad weather was expected in the Kansas City
area and both bus drivers utilized numerous contacts
to keep us informed about the weather conditions for
the trip back home. The nine + hour drive back to KC
was difficult for both drivers - however, they handled
the deteriorating road conditions with tremendous skill
and patience. Never once did I feel the safety of the
passengers were in jeopardy.
Please extend our thanks and appreciation to Chuck and
Nancy for a job well done. They were excellent and I
would recommend their services to anyone. They were outstanding
in their duties and were a joy to work with throughout
the four day weekend.

Back on May 19, 2003 we went on a group trip with our
Citris Hills, Florida travel club to Branson , MO.
We flew into St. Louis , MO. where one of your tour
buses picked us up, took us to Branson, stayed with us
the whole time there we were there, and than brought
us back to the airport almost a week later.
I want to congratulate you on your choice of drivers.
If our driver, Mr. Richard Rife, is an example of the
quality of drivers that you hire, than you are doing
an outstanding job. Mr Rife was an extremely accommodating
driver and tour guide. He did, in my estimation, an outstanding
job.
He made the trip a very pleasant and informative one
for me and my wife.
Again, thank you.
~Donald Smith - Hernando , FL
Dear Phil Rish,
We wish to thank you for the wonderful
bus trip you took our "FUN AFTER FIFTY" group thru Branson & my
favorite stop, Precious Moments area. You fit right in
with our group, with your sense of humor, your knowledge
of every show & place we went to & helping our
passengers on & off the bus.
Enclosed are a couple of pics we took, sorry that the "blinky
earrings" didn't show up, but your "thot" was there to "have
fun with us'n"
Many thanks again, for your helpfulness and when we're
in that area again, we will be sure to request you as
our driver-commentator.

My wife and I just came back from a trip to Branson
, Mo. and Mr. Mark Sneed was our bus driver from Kansas
City to Branson and for the entire tour. Mr. Sneed was
instrumental in making our tour a success and enjoyable.
His friendliness and his willing to go above and beyond
were appreciated by all of us on the tour, especially
his trivia and humor.
It is my opinion that all of us on the tour enjoyed
having Mr. Sneed as our bus driver and I might add his
driving was excellent.
~Verne& Jean Cowan
Mr. Chuck Gunnels,
I want to take this opportunity to
wish you a very Merry Christmas and thank you for your
service to THE SOUND OF MUSIC tour.
I was a little apprehensive at first about touring with
a new bus company since I was pleased with the company
that Troika toured with in the past, but I must commend
you on the quality of your bus and your quick response
to accommodating our needs while on the road. Its helped
me tremendously on the road to have complete faith that
our transportation needs are so well met.
The outstanding reason that such goodwill has developed
between this traveling company and Arrow Stage Lines,
however, is your driver Ellis Hestand. We feel we've
snagged the best for our tour. His work ethic, knowledge
of the roads, quiet dignity, sense of humor and utter
unflappability under pressure has endeared him to the
company to an extent I have not seen before on any of
my previous tours. He projects warmth, strength and security
to the children and parents we have on this tour. They
haven't stopped talking about him even during this layoff
and look forward to his return.
I know I commended you on Ellis' performance in the
past, but I wanted to get it down on record for all to
see.
I wish you and your employees a wonderful holiday season.
~Walter Milani - SOUND OF MUSIC - Company Manager
I've just completed a tour from Kansas City to Branson
and back to Kansas City . Our driver was Bruce Guffey
- what a great driver! We all thoroughly enjoyed him.
He was kind, helpful, has a smile for all, and very competent.
I've had many drivers and he is the best. Thank you Bruce
for being so helpful to me and our 46 passengers.

I just wanted to give John Germeyer special recognition
for the way he handled our trip to Canada and to Branson
as well. He is not only an outstanding driver, he is
so warm and courteous to my residents.
The Canada trip had a few things that called for him
to go above and beyond but the Branson trip really cinched
that. We had two wheel chair patients. I know it was
a lot more work for John than anybody, but he was so
sweet to them. He handled them so well and they fell
in love with him. It did cause him a lot of extra work
and we all appreciated him.
Just for the record, I want him to be my preferred driver
on all my trips from now on. (Let's hope he never moves
back to Branson)
Also, Chuck, I want to thank you again for all you do
for us. I did appreciate you getting the wheelchair bus
for us.
~Jean Harris
I'm writing to compliment you on one of your drivers,
John Germeyer. John was our bus driver on the November
21st Hallmark Retirees Branson trip, arranged through
The Travel House.
I've traveled quite a bit through the US and in Europe
and have been on many bus tours. I've experienced many
kinds of drivers and I must say that John is professional,
charming, courteous, patient, helpful and knowledgeable.
He was always where he'd said he would be and on time.
He has a wonderful personality and gets along extremely
well with his passengers. We all enjoyed his sense of
humor and felt very safe as "we left the driving to him".
Thank you for having such a person in your employ, it
speaks highly for your company. I do hope you will give
John a giant "pat on the back" and pass along my compliments
to him.
~Mr. Hans Liemen - The Travel House - Mission ,
KS
Last week I was fortunate to take a trip with the Suffern
Senior Group and I had the good fortune to have Mr. John
Germeyer as our bus driver. He took us from St. Louis
to Branson , Missouri .
What a great time we all had. This gentleman was so
very knowledgeable about the area and so very kind. We
all were so lucky to have him as our guide. What an employee.
You are so very lucky to have such a warm, kind and knowledgeable
employee. He answered all of our questions no matter
how silly or stupid they might have been. He made the
trip so pleasant for all of us.
I hope that when an advancement comes up in your company
you will keep him in mind. What a true treasure you have
in the gentleman.
Thank you for making this trip one that I will remember
for many years to come.
~Natalie Siegel
I want to commend one of your coach operators for her
excellent driving skills.
Besides conducting safe practices, she was courteous
and most helpful to all during my recent Branson tour
from May 5 thru 9, 2003.
Your company is blessed to have such an employee, Nancy
Daniels.
~Frances M. Moore
On May 5 - 9, 2003 Nancy Daniels was the bus driver
from St. Louis to Branson and return for Tally Ho Share
Club from Florida . She was an excellent driver. Everyone
felt safe with Nancy at the wheel. There were 42 passengers.
She was helpful and very friendly to all. Please tell
her "hi" from everyone.
~Donna Hiclks, Escort
I was recently on a tour to Branson , MO. Our tour from
Tally Ho Travel in Florida used your motorcoach and driver
Nancy Daniels.
Nancy was the most delightful and helpful
motor coach operator that I have ever met. Her great
personality and informative nature is always there
to serve the people.
You have one in a million there. She does your coach
line a great service. She is a very careful and conscientious
driver.
~Sally Northrup
Hi Nancy,
Just wanted you to know that I loved all your
chatter and parking lot tours. Seriously you are one
super bus driver and very good at your job.
Thank you for keeping us all happy and I pray that none
of your family suffered any injuries or damage due to
the storm.
~Kathleen Hollman
Dear Nancy,
I just wanted to take the time to Thank
You for the enjoyable trip you drove for us, Ultra Tours.
Your enthusiasm and local interest points were facts
that no book or tourism booth could have given us. It
was great to see how interested you were as to the stops
that we had chosen.
Many of the people on our tour wondered if the tornado
was part of the mystery because if it was, we sure had
connections with the Man Upstairs! I hope you made it
to your next destination safely.
~Judy Monacelli - Ultra

I am the group leader for St. Edmund's Church in Tonawanda
in charge of senior activities. We recently spent 5 days
on a trip to Branson and I feel I must comment on our
driver. David Hall who went out of his way to educate
us on every point possible. The entire group was fascinated
by his knowledge. He was so impressive and I cannot say
enough nice things about him. If there is ever such a
position, we would certainly Dave as "Bus Driver of the
Year". He had so many good things to say about Missouri
that I'm ready to pack my bag and move.
