1928 |
Founded by Carl
Busskohl in Norfolk, Nebraska. Carl was
awarded a charter bus mail contract between
Norfolk, Nebraska and Sioux City, Iowa .
People soon asked Carl if they could ride
with him and he charged seventy-five cents
each way. Carl was also awarded the Sioux
City Journal Newspaper delivery and the
Old Home Bread contract. |

Carl's brother Jack opened
a similar operation in Sioux City, Iowa
. |

Carl and a friend built a
25 passenger charter bus because more routes
were added and the charter side of the business
began to prosper. |

Carl and Jack united and incorporated
as Arrow Stage Lines, Inc. |

| 1950 |
Carl's son Doyle Busskohl
joins the charter bus company. |

Jack's son Chuck Busskohl
joins the charter bus company. |

A new schedule route from
Norfolk , Nebraska to Rapid City is added
and is very successful. Allied Tour and Travel
(founded by Doyle Busskohl), Arrow's sister
company is formed to help get people on buses.
Charter bus business continues to grow at
a steady pace along with more schedules. |

Arrow Stage Lines begins
to expand. A charter bus location in Omaha
, Nebraska is opened. |

Charter bus offices in Grand
Island, Nebraska opens with the purchase of
Cornhusker Lines. |

| 1980 |
Doyle's son Steve Busskohl
joins the charter bus company. Expansion continues
as Arrow buys out companies in Manhattan ,
Kansas and Lee's Summit , Missouri . A charter
bus location in Topeka , Kansas is also opened. |

Lincoln , Nebraska location
opens. |

In the quest for steady winter
income, charter bus locations in the Western
United States are looked at for expansion.
Three coaches are taken to Phoenix . The Phoenix
charter bus operation soon grows to 55 coaches,
and is the largest operation of the company. |

The decision to split the
company is made. Chuck and his side of the
family took control of the Phoenix charter
bus operation; Doyle and Steve kept the Midwest
assets. The company is renamed Busco, Inc.
dba Arrow Stage Lines. Busco Inc. completely
purchases Chief Bus Service. All remaining
schedule services except Norfolk to Omaha
is phased out. |

Tucson, Arizona location is
opened. |

| 1995 |
Denver, Colorado charter bus
location opens and quickly becomes the largest
terminal in the company. Chuck Busskohl decides
to sell his portion of Arrow Stage Lines,
Inc. |

Des Moines, Iowa location
is opened. |

| 2001 |
Busco, Inc. purchases the
assets of Crusader Coach Lines in Logan, Iowa
and Sioux City, Iowa. |

| 2003 |
Arrow opens its 12 th charter
bus location in Las Vegas, Nevada. |

S.
Luke Busskohl, 4th generation family member
and son of Steve's joins the company.
Arrow
Purchases 39 new motorcoaches over the course
of the year. |

Arrow purchases Corporate Transportation
'N Tours in Phoenix, AZ and opens its 13th
charter bus location. |
