This Is More Than A Driving Job

Arrow Stage Lines is hiring, but not just for any job. Arrow Stage Lines is looking for talented individuals looking to travel, escape and go on an adventure. This is the main reason Arrow Stage Lines developed an entirely new website designed for those who are looking to travel and get paid! It’s called drivearrow.com and it is all about the amazing opportunities that Arrow Stage Lines’ motorcoach drivers get to experience, every day. This is more than just a driving job.  Luke, who started with the company as a motorcoach driver, reflected on this unique type of career.  “This truly is more than just another driving job,” said Arrow Stage Lines’ COO, Luke Busskohl. “This is an opportunity to travel to some of our nation’s most treasured destinations, or work with some amazing groups, teams and events, all while being paid. I have been to so many destinations and met so many people I would never have met otherwise.”  Driving adventure is all about the journey, but a big difference is a motorcoach driver is paid regardless if they are sitting or enjoying the sites, shows or events with their group.  “It really is the best of both worlds,” said Arrow Stage Lines’ HR Director, Pauline Pedroza. “Our motorcoach drivers can work a few days a month, or be gone for months at a time, and the entire time they are on a trip, they are being paid.”  Arrow Stage Lines’ drivers don’t just stay in any hotel; they stay where their group stays. According to long-time Arrow Stage Lines’ motorcoach driver Jerry Shelton, “I have stayed in some...

Arrow Stage Lines’ Custom Husker Buses Get Some Attention

Arrow Stage Lines’ Custom Husker Buses Get Some Attention

Labor Day Weekend is a time to escape on a mini-vacation, spend time with family, or just relax for an extended weekend. For Arrow Stage Lines it is the beginning of a new tour season, and this year we also ushered in the kick-off to college football season, with a couple of new Husker motorcoaches.   Teams from all over the nation climbed on-board Arrow Stage Lines’ motorcoaches and traveled to their respective stadiums. Some teams customize the outside of their Arrow Stage Lines’ charter bus. Take BYU for example, they use prime window space to fly their flag high when they arrive to any away game. ASU uses custom Arrow Stage Lines’ sign holders to display their logo, while SUU makes a statement with matching team colors on their motorcoach.  Arrow Stage Lines, a fan of going big with their exterior designs, took team branding to a whole new level this football season, with the release of the Nebraska Cornhuskers’ custom motorcoaches. The two MCI J4500 motorcoaches were released by the Huskers on Twitter at 10:41pm CST on September 2nd, 2016, one day prior to their season opener against Fresno State.    The tag-team of motorcoaches present two iconic symbols for the University. One motorcoach features the ironclad “N”. The all white motorcoach was designed to depict a helmet, with a red stripe extending down the back of the motorcoach, with the year designated on the back. While the all black motorcoach makes a loud statement and highlights the Huskers’ defense with the notorious chrome “Blackshirts” skull and cross bones stamped across both sides of the motorcoach.  “This project was one...
Arrow Stage Lines Makes Small Changes With New Deliveries

Arrow Stage Lines Makes Small Changes With New Deliveries

Metro Magazine’s 2016 Innovative Operator of the Year, has been notably advancing the design of its motorcoaches over the course of the last 4 years. Arrow Stage Lines’ product design team is dedicated to leveraging new engineering and design ideas to help elevate not only the appearance of the company’s motorcoaches, but also the charter bus customer experience.   Recently, MCI delivered 5 new 2016 MCI J4500 motorcoaches equipped with the company’s next generation seating solution. The Kiel seat option delivers increased legroom, while also maximizing passenger comfort.   “The Kiel seat has been a great option for our passengers,” said Arrow Stage Lines’ COO, Luke Busskohl. “The new MCI generations of our motorcoaches all include this seating option.”   The ambient lighting is emasculate in the new MCI’s as well. Blue LED lights eliminate the stainless steel runners that accent the ceiling and parcel racks. The new motorcoaches  include two seat color variations, Arrow Stage Lines’ standard grey, black and luxury brown, black combination. The Kiel seats provide a new backing material, providing for a much better passenger experience. Each seat is equipped with tray tables, aisle handle grips, and seat belts.   Arrow Connect V2.0 is available as an option on each new MCI and can be added to any trip. However, the real changes come with the exterior. “We tried a different color combination and material on the exterior,” said Arrow Stage Lines’ Director of Maintenance, Gene Wordekemper. “It was a little risky, but the finished product is true luxury.”   Arrow Stage Lines has slightly altered the normal color palette and has released a blacked-out motorcoach with gold accents. This...
Interior Changes For A Unique Charter Bus Experience

Interior Changes For A Unique Charter Bus Experience

On the exterior, the new Arrow Stage Lines’ VanHool motorcoaches look similar to the charter bus company’s normal high-end vehicles. The big change comes when you step into the interior.   Arrow Stage Lines is known for placing a large emphasis on the customer experience, but until now, has never drastically changed the engineering inside the motorcoach. The most recent change by the 2016 Innovative Operator of the Year, was  its next generation Kiel seating, exclusive on MCI models, to enhance legroom and increase the modernization of the interior .    “We have always made modifications to coaches,” said Arrow Stage Lines’ COO, Luke Busskohl, “like moving seating arrangements and adding capacity, but this new modification really opens up the entire motorcoach.”  The new Arrow Stage Lines’ VanHool motorcoaches feature a contoured parcel rack. This allows for one of the largest entryways in  the industry, while also providing passengers in the front  with the largest flat screen TVs in the Arrow Stage Lines charter bus fleet. The new design brings gorgeous ambient LED lighting, rounded staircase, and luxury seating.    “It really commands your attention when you experience this new entryway,” said Arrow Stage Lines’ Director of Maintenance Gene Wordekemper. “It truly is a unique motorcoach design, and we believe customers are going to really enjoy this new feature.”  The welcoming experience is a big emphasis for the company, and the new VanHool models provide an excellent first impression. The plush grey and black leather seating paired with the light interior and wood floors; create a phenomenal experience for both day travel and evening adventures. The Arrow Stage Lines’ VanHools come equipped with Arrow Connect...
