Arrow Stage Lines Dedicated to a Better Future

Arrow Stage Lines, founded in 1928, in Norfolk, NE, has remained focused on providing safe, reliable transportation for over 85 years. The company continues to make strides in improving safety by leveraging technology, and a wealth of industry knowledge and experience. Not only does the company remain true to its core, but it has been quietly making an impact on the world we live in.   “We feel it is our duty to help make the world a better place for years to come,” said Arrow Stage Lines’ COO Luke Busskohl. “We try and make a positive impact for the future of our world through a number of different initiatives.”  Motorcoach travel has always been one of the most efficient ways to travel. Numerous studies have proven a drastic decrease in environmental harm when traveling by motorcoach, as opposed to personal vehicles and airlines. However, the Arrow Stage Lines’ mission does not just rely on the efficiency of the vehicles.   In 2016, Arrow Stage Lines placed a large amount of focus on drivers’ operating sustainability practices. The company utilized resources to provide required educational opportunities to each Arrow Stage Lines’ driver through the University of Vermont’s Sustainability Transportation Certification program. In fact, to-date, every Arrow Stage Lines’ driver has completed this training and is required to pursue a number of continuing education requirements throughout their employment.  “It is important that we continue to improve our practices to not only provide better customer service, but also use that knowledge to ensure we are doing our jobs to best of our abilities,” said Arrow Stage Lines’ Director of Safety & Risk, Tim...

This Is More Than A Driving Job

This Is More Than A Driving Job

Arrow Stage Lines is hiring, but not just for any job. Arrow Stage Lines is looking for talented individuals looking to travel, escape and go on an adventure. This is the main reason Arrow Stage Lines developed an entirely new website designed for those who are looking to travel and get paid! It’s called drivearrow.com and it is all about the amazing opportunities that Arrow Stage Lines’ motorcoach drivers get to experience, every day. This is more than just a driving job.  Luke, who started with the company as a motorcoach driver, reflected on this unique type of career.  “This truly is more than just another driving job,” said Arrow Stage Lines’ COO, Luke Busskohl. “This is an opportunity to travel to some of our nation’s most treasured destinations, or work with some amazing groups, teams and events, all while being paid. I have been to so many destinations and met so many people I would never have met otherwise.”  Driving adventure is all about the journey, but a big difference is a motorcoach driver is paid regardless if they are sitting or enjoying the sites, shows or events with their group.  “It really is the best of both worlds,” said Arrow Stage Lines’ HR Director, Pauline Pedroza. “Our motorcoach drivers can work a few days a month, or be gone for months at a time, and the entire time they are on a trip, they are being paid.”  Arrow Stage Lines’ drivers don’t just stay in any hotel; they stay where their group stays. According to long-time Arrow Stage Lines’ motorcoach driver Jerry Shelton, “I have stayed in some...

Arrow Stage Lines’ Custom Husker Buses Get Some Attention

Arrow Stage Lines’ Custom Husker Buses Get Some Attention

Labor Day Weekend is a time to escape on a mini-vacation, spend time with family, or just relax for an extended weekend. For Arrow Stage Lines it is the beginning of a new tour season, and this year we also ushered in the kick-off to college football season, with a couple of new Husker motorcoaches.   Teams from all over the nation climbed on-board Arrow Stage Lines’ motorcoaches and traveled to their respective stadiums. Some teams customize the outside of their Arrow Stage Lines’ charter bus. Take BYU for example, they use prime window space to fly their flag high when they arrive to any away game. ASU uses custom Arrow Stage Lines’ sign holders to display their logo, while SUU makes a statement with matching team colors on their motorcoach.  Arrow Stage Lines, a fan of going big with their exterior designs, took team branding to a whole new level this football season, with the release of the Nebraska Cornhuskers’ custom motorcoaches. The two MCI J4500 motorcoaches were released by the Huskers on Twitter at 10:41pm CST on September 2nd, 2016, one day prior to their season opener against Fresno State.    The tag-team of motorcoaches present two iconic symbols for the University. One motorcoach features the ironclad “N”. The all white motorcoach was designed to depict a helmet, with a red stripe extending down the back of the motorcoach, with the year designated on the back. While the all black motorcoach makes a loud statement and highlights the Huskers’ defense with the notorious chrome “Blackshirts” skull and cross bones stamped across both sides of the motorcoach.  “This project was one...
