The Biggest and Smallest Bus in the World

To many people, one bus looks pretty much like another. Apart from the numbers and perhaps the colors of the buses based on destination, many people wouldn’t know one bus from another. However, there can be significant differences between buses, including in terms of their size. A unique bus riding experience If you’re looking for a unique bus riding experience, you may want to take a trip on the world biggest and smallest buses – although you will have to travel to two different countries to do this…Germany and Italy. Auto Tram Extra Grand For a ride on the world’s largest bus, you need to head to Germany where the mammoth Auto Tram Extra Grand is being trialed. At over 100 feet long, this is the longest bus on the planet, with the capacity to transport 256 passengers. Running largely on electric power, this vehicle is considered to offer the convenience of a bus with the capacity of a train. Orders for the bus have also been placed by Shanghai and Beijing, where its capacity is likely to make it a big hit amongst commuters. The trial of this giant bus has been taking place in Dresden and its design consists of three sections, giving it a very distinctive appearance. Tecnobus If you want to try the smallest bus in the world, you should head to Italy where you can board the Tecnobus, which is part of the urban public transport system. Compared to a normal bus, this bus looks like a miniature. Compared to the massive Auto Tram Extra Grand, it would probably look like more of a toy...
