Taking fifty-one 13 and 14 year old jazz band members on a performance/amusement park-reward-for-a- year-of-7:00-am-rehearsals-type-of-trip is always an exhilarating Saturday in May, and the Arrow drivers dedication and patience is a HUGE part of the success of the day. He was in our parking lot even before I got to school, which was 45 minutes before our loading time! His constant help with loading and unloading, timing stops exactly, his masterful work with the DVD player, with helping students arrange a few personal EXTRA stops back at the bus for clothes changing, forgotten lunch discovery, etc…..all that and more made my life as the band director quite smooth during the entire day. Luke Busskohl’s help on the administrative side always makes me feel like we have a private secretary at the Arrow Stage Lines offices.
